Are you thinking about planning a trip? Do you prefer organizing trips by yourself or do you prefer to travel with a group and let someone else do the planning? Are you looking for suggestions? Tips? Resources?

I love to travel! And I actually love planning trips and all the research that goes into it. I get excited when after countless google searches I finally find exactly what I’m looking for. I love it when a good trip comes together! But let’s face it, it’s a lot of work. And I don’t want to do this for every trip I take. Sometimes it’s really nice to sign up for a group and just show up.

You’ll notice that I tend toward winter trips—I love the cold (as long as I have the right clothes), snow, and activities like snowshoeing and cross country skiing. For those of you who prefer warmer weather, many of the trips from other contributors may be more to your liking.
